Support for Estranged Adult Relationships
Emerging research indicates that up to 25% of American adults are estranged from a family member at some point. They don't need to carry the weight of that reality alone.
Support group for adult children
This 8-week support group is designed to educate and connect adults who find themselves in a low- or no-contact arrangement with a parent.
Leah Caminker, LCMHC, and I know that the coming holiday season highlights pain and isolation for estranged and ambivalent adult children.
We lean on our relational and family therapy training to help participants find connection and community, explore their personal values and learn more about setting, holding and adjusting healthy boundaries.
What: 8-week educational support group
When: Tuesdays from 6:30-8pm from September 30-November 18, 2025
Where: The group will meet virtually, unless members collectively decide to gather in person.
Cost: The fee is $60 per meeting, billed before the group starts. (A few reduced-rate and scholarship spots are available.)
We are recruiting up to 12 members. This group proudly welcomes BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and disabled participants and expects all participants to support these values.
Family Therapy
